How to Delete Your Account

📱 Option 1: Delete from the App

  1. Open Med-In Ethiopia app
  2. Go to Settings → Account
  3. Tap Delete Account
  4. Confirm your decision

📧 Option 2: Request via Email (Optional)

Send an email to:

account-deletion@medin.favatechnologies.com

Subject line: "ACCOUNT DELETION REQUEST"

⚠️ Requests are only processed from your registered email address for security verification.

📌 Email deletion is optional — users can delete their account directly from the app at any time.

Data That Will Be Deleted

  • Your name, email, and profile information
  • Health tracking data (blood sugar, blood pressure, etc.)
  • Symptom logs and wellness journals
  • Medication reminders and schedules
  • AI conversation history
  • Saved preferences and bookmarks
  • ✓ This includes accounts created via Email & Google Sign-In (OAuth)

Processing Time

Within 30 days

We will send a confirmation email once your account is permanently deleted.

Identity Verification

We may ask you to confirm your identity by replying to a verification email sent to your registered email address.

What Happens After Deletion

All personal and health data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

Limited non-personal, anonymized analytics may be retained for security and fraud prevention. No personal health information is retained after deletion.
